CMAT Exam Day Guide: Admit Card, Centre and Checklist
A calm exam day begins with the current official notice, a verified centre and a short checklist. This guide separates confirmed information from items that can change between CMAT cycles.

Start with the current official notice
Tribhuvan University Faculty of Management publishes application, centre and result notices on its official notice board. Open the latest notice for your exact cycle and programme. A notice from an earlier year is useful background, but it is not your exam-day instruction.
Confirm the cycle
Check the notice title, publication date, programme list and examination date. Re-CMAT and the initial CMAT cycle can have different schedules and centres.
Match your own record
Match the application or symbol number shown in the centre notice. Save the relevant page offline or print it so that a weak connection does not leave you searching at the gate.
Seven-day preparation checklist
- Recheck the current FoM notice and the campus message you received.
- Confirm the centre name, address and travel time from your location.
- Keep the required admit document and identity document together.
- Prepare permitted stationery according to the notice or campus instruction.
- Revise short notes instead of starting several new topics.
- Keep a backup alarm and a second route to the centre.
What the official pattern confirms
The published BBA/BITM/BTTM curriculum documents describe a 100-mark objective test with 100 questions: 25 each from Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Use our CMAT syllabus and exam pattern guide for the section map.
Do not assume changing rules
Exam duration, reporting time, calculator policy, negative marking and permitted items should come from the current notice or authorised campus communication. This guide does not turn an old rule or coaching habit into an official instruction.
Keep your final revision balanced
Spend the final days on familiar methods, accuracy and pacing across all four sections. Use the CMAT sample questions to rehearse transitions without trying to predict the live paper.

On the morning of the test
Eat normally, leave a travel buffer and carry only the items your current instruction permits. At the centre, follow the room and seating directions. If two unofficial messages conflict, show the official notice or contact the campus that processed your application.
If something does not match
Take a screenshot of the issue, note your application or symbol number and contact the participating campus first. For Faculty-level clarification, use the contact details on the official FoM website. Do not post identity documents or payment records publicly.
